8 Tips for a Suscessful Blog Headline

1. Communicate a Benefit – a title should tell readers something that they’ll ‘get’ by reading your post.
2. Create Controversy or Debate – not suitable for every post title but there’s nothing like Debate to get people checking out a post.
3. Ask a Question – in my experience posts with questions in the titles tend to get read more than others – they also are better at stimulating comments from readers.
4. Personalize Titles – for example: using ‘you’ in your post title (and post) can have a real impact and take a post from the realm of ‘theory’ into a more personal post.
5. Use Keywords – keywords that signal to readers and search engines what your post is about can help draw in significant traffic if you use them well.
6. Use Power Words – Not all words are created equal – some evoke a powerful response in readers – words like ‘free’, ’stunning’, ‘discover’, ‘warning’, ’secrets’, ‘easy’ etc all work well in my experience of blogging.
7. Make Claims and Promises – as long as you can back them up in your post – a big claim or promise can get someone’s attention.
8. Humor Titles – be careful with this one – funny can work great but it can also leave your readers very confused if it’s too cryptic…. or if it’s just not funny.

There is no better feeling than to wake up in the morning and walk into your office to work. For many years the idea of working from home was a dream. I have been an Internet Marketer since 1999. Over the years I have seen a lot of changes in our society because of the freedom the internet gives people to communicate.

The internet has opened many doors and created many millionaires as well as billionaires. Imagine … being able to communicate your message worldwide in a matter of minutes.

The ability to market your product or service to millions of people for very little money has changed the entire advertising industry. Average people are now competing with billion dollar corporations on a level playing field.

Why I became involved in Network Marketing

Although I have been doing internet marketing since 1999, I just became involved in Network Marketing in 2007. The main reason I became interested was because of its ability to allow average people earn money with low investment and limited marketing skills. The old way of doing MLM is slowly dieing and it is now in my opinion one of the best ways for average people to create wealth.

There has never been a better time in history to start a home business.

But beware, the internet is loaded with scams and get rich quick schemes designed to take your money. They offer you a lot of promises but rarely ever deliver. If you are currently searching for the right Network Marketing opportunity please do your homework. Watch out for ones that are just starting up… established companies are the tride and true.

As a Network Marketer you probably understand the importance of building relationships. The newest rage in business building is Social Media and it is the wave of the future for Network Marketing.

As more and more network marketers begin to understand the power of Blogging, Facebooking, Tweeting and participating in Forums we are always looking for new ways to add a personal touch to whatever we do.

One of the easiest ways you can do this is to include a Gravatar with your comments and posts on blogs.

What is a Gravatar?

It’s a  image of yourself or company logo that you use to brand yourself. It is attached to all of your blog posts when you add a comment to someone’s WordPress blog post or when you comment on you own blog.

Where does a Gravatar go?

Whenever you post a comment on a WordPress blog, such as this, your gravatar image will appear next to your comment. When anyone likes the look of your gravatar, they can click on that image and go straight to your site!  That’s right, it allows people to click your image and immediately find out more about you and what you have to offer.

As you can see by the image above, you can have multiple images attached to multiple email addresses. Everytime you post a comment to a blog the image will correspond with the email address you choose.

Tip: Always post good comments and if other people reading the comments like what they see they will then see your image. most people cannot resist clicking on you image and when they do they will be directed to the web address you placed in your blog comment. If you do not add a web address to your blog comment they will not be linked to anything.

It is simple to set up!

Go to Gravatar and set up your account.

Very important: Make sure to use the SAME email address you used for your Gravatar account when you leave comments on blogs.  This will automatically connect your Gravatar image with your comment!

After you set up your Gravatar account please come back here and post your results on this page and!
